Chalet Marius is a contemporary building that blends seamlessly into the surrounding nature and snowfields. It backs onto the Jaillet massif while facing Mont Blanc and the Princesse and Mont-d’Arbois slopes. Its tavaillon roof (a typical wooden tile from the Haute-Savoie region) and walls of local stone and old wood create a 450m² setting in which you can immediately imagine spending Christmas by the fire. This rental chalet can accommodate up to 12 people (8 adults and 4 children) for a week or more: it has 3 double bedrooms with TV and ensuite bathroom, a master bedroom with TV, an ensuite bathroom and dressing room, and a bedroom with two bunk beds that should delight the children.

Just a few minutes’ drive will take you to several entry points to the Évasion Mont Blanc ski area. Renowned for its gentle, panoramic slopes, as well as for its demanding off-piste runs in the Mont Joly and Côte 2000 areas, it offers 250 miles (400km) of pistes divided into several massifs, each with a beginners’ area on the lower slopes, where even the youngest skiers can learn to ski in a safe environment. The ideal starting point from Chalet Marius is at the foot of the Princesse ski lift (3 minutes by car), which leads directly to the summit of Mont d’Arbois. At the very heart of the ski domain, with its many renowned mountain restaurants, this area offers some of the most beautiful runs in the domain, including the mythical Épaule piste overlooking Mont Blanc, where you can ski through between woodlands and high mountains. It is also possible to reach the Jaillet massif (4 minutes by car from the chalet), allowing skiers of all abilities to enjoy sun-drenched slopes.
You can also quickly get to the centre of Megève (5 minutes) to take advantage of its many shops, restaurants and bars, as well as its host of activities, from tobogganing to snowshoeing, not forgetting the aquatic centre or horse-riding excursions through the old streets of the village.
